I wanted to let you now that yesterday was my first ever float plane ride, and also my first experience with Harbour Air. I must say, my experience was the BEST customer service I have received in a long time, and possibly ever. Staff were friendly, attentive but not over bearing. The available coffee, fruit and internet made my work trip so easy and enjoyable!
Overall, just wanted to let you guys know that you did a fabulous job.

Some years ago I flew to Victoria from Vancouver and just skimming those trees over Stanley Park and being so close to nature just took my breath away. The tiny islands were incredible - B.C. is truly beautiful and the flight was very relaxing.

I fly fairly regularly with Harbour Air, visiting my elderly parents, one of whom has recently died. Just now I had to cancel a flight for my mother and I, since she has woken up feeling ill. It was incredibly easy to cancel flight on line - and I decided it was time to tell Harbour Air what a great service you provide, I have cancelled and changed flights, arrived slightly late, had too much baggage and on and on - never a complaint from the staff, always a welcoming smile. Thanks for making what has been a fairly difficult phase of family life so easy.

Flew for the first time from Victoria. Decision to book with Harbour Air was the ability to get to downtown Vancouver quickly without the ferry & related travel hassle. Booking on-line for a family of four was fast, easy and a great deal. All of our baggage was handled efficiently, the staff were friendly and helpful and the flight is an experience in itself. I flew from Langley to Victoria harbour and return May 12 & 13th
with your service. I was prompted to move my date ahead to ensure a flight before cancellation of this route. That cancellation will be a disappointment and an end to a very pleasant and accomodating service.
The total package has been excellent - from the well timed departure schedules, convenient (and 'green') terminal locations, ease of boarding procedures, and most of all the friendly, courteous, and efficient staff and flight crew who made my trip an experience to remember. The 'Customer Comments' I see on this webpage tell me I have said enough: your staff have provided one
of the best travel experiences in BC and management should be congratulated on a well planned service that shows a high regard for the unique needs of BC travel.

Just wanted to say how disappointed I am that you were unable to maintain your Langley/Victoria service. I am sure it was done as a last resort. This was extremely convenient for me and your employees, including the pilots, were ALWAYS friendly. Now my option is to travel in heavy traffic to Richmond :( which I will probably do, since it is still far superior to using the ferry. Thanks, it was great while it lasted.

As an intermittent traveler with Harbour Air but a regular traveler with other airlines I have observed a distinct and positive difference. Your staff seem happy in their work, conscientious and friendly. These qualities have been noted rain or shine! There was one staff member who assisted us onto the 8.05 a.m. flight to Victoria and was there to greet us upon our return at 6.40 p.m. with the same warm smile despite her obviously long day. You could teach all the other airlines a thing or two about customer service. The aircraft was clean and neatly presented- if that attention is paid to seat belts and carpets then it tells me that you also ensure the aircraft is maintained mechanically and electronically. Thank you.

I am a regular traveler from Nanaimo, where I live, to Richmond, where I work. Since I am a daily traveler, I have the opportunity to experience the excellent service that Harbour Air delivers every day. It is easy for a traveler to have a "once only" excellent experience with an air carrier. However, it is only when you travel on a regular basis that you can see the true consistency and quality of service.
My Harbour Air experience has never deviated from the excellent quality that I started with on the very first day that I traveled with the company. No matter what day, what weather challenge, or customer issues that the staff have to deal with, the service delivery never faltered.
During the over two years that I have flown with Harbour Air, I have come to think of the staff that I come in contact with every day as one big family. Everyone that I come in contact with is considerate of their team mates and of me, the customer. The passion they have for their positions with the company whether it be as a pilot, member of the dock crew, customer service team, call centre or accounting team, is exemplified by the service delivery that we, as passengers receive.
I could go on and on with my praise but don't want to come across as being too maudlin. Suffice to say that I consider myself blessed that I can come to work on a daily basis with the knowledge that my travel to and from work is safe, economical, stress-free, and most of all enjoyable!

Just wanted to let you know how impressed my wife and I were with our "Harbour Air" experience.
From the moment we arrived at the terminal, your people were extremely pleasant, friendly and accommodating.
This was our 1st seaplane experience and we were a little apprehensive to say the least. The friendliness we experienced from your people while booking, through check-in, the flight and arrival - after an enjoyable Saint Patty your landing crew even helped carry our bags to the top of the upramp where our daughter was waiting to help us - made it extremely memorable.
We would not hesitate to recommend Harbour Air to anyone.

I wanted to write to expess my gratitude to your staff in the Vancouver departure Centre for their excellent service and care yesterday (Sunday March 13) when weather conditions made crossings to Victoria too unsafe to fly. I was very impressed with their willingness to go the "extra mile" to make sure that everyone was accomodated. I made it home safely and on time due to their efforts. I was dreading the trip and the individuals noted above went above and beyond to keep me informed, relaxed and comfortable.

Yesterday was our first flight with Harbour Air, and as we walked down the dock after landing in Nanaimo, we were of one mind - we are going to do that again - soon.
Quite apart from the pleasures of the flight itself,(in a plane maybe the same age we are, but with fewer wrinkles)
and the serene comfort of a smoothly-run operation, what truly sets your company apart dawned on me this morning.
It's that the smiles on the faces of your employees are real, not the politely forced smiles we often see from those whose work involves dealing with a (sometimes difficult) public.
Every person radiated that positive feeling.
From the lady at the counter, who informed us with glee that not only could we take an earlier flight if we wished, but would have that flight all to ourselves, "like a private charter," to the pilot who made us laugh, while answering one question quick on the heels of another about the plane, to the people waiting on the dock at this end, who laughed to see our giddy delight as we disembarked...your people are special.
They made our experience special, and us loyal to your company, in just one 20-minute flight.

I would just like to thank your very helpful and friendly staff in both Vancouver and Victoria - particularly today as the weather was a bit "iffy" - I was booked on the 4:00 PM flight and arrived early to see how things were going ... the check in staff recommended I take an earlier flight - "just in case" - that was very thoughtful and accommodating!
I have been a weekly traveller for the last 15 months or so and really appreciate the personal and friendly service ... I know you appreciate your staff and crews - good for you and them ...

This is a long overdue compliment but we just wanted to say thanks to your staff at the Richmond/South Terminal back on July 28. Myself and my family had flown from Glasgow to Vancouver on that day so arrived at your terminal somewhat tired. Despite the fact that it was a very busy day, your staff at the terminal did all they could to accomodate all passengers in the best way possible (discounts for the restaurant; pleasant service, etc.) Also, we were over on our weight allowance for our flight so were provided the option of having one of our bags sent on the flight after us, free of charge.

My 90 year old mother, from Richmond, wanted to come to Victoria for Mother's Day and we decided to have her come over on your Air Service. We had done this a few times before but each time my mother finds it more difficult to navigate. She came to Victoria on May 8th on a very smooth flight but she was a little worried about going into and out of the plane.
On the way back on the 11th of May we were really looked after by the staff in Victoria, helping with her getting into the plane to the advanced entry. Also on the Richmond side, a young lady met my mother at the plane and assisted her all the way to the cab.
She wanted me to make sure that I let you know we were very impressed by the staff.

Yesterday, I travelled from Richmond YVR to Nanaimo on the 11:00am flight. I received excellent customer service from your check in agent who went out of his way to make sure my Budget Rental car was waiting for me at the Nanaimo terminal. Everytime I fly with Harbour Air, the customer service has always been excellent.

I travel very frequently and yesterday was my first time with Harbour Air. I have tried Helijet, Air Canada and BC Ferries to get to Victoria in the past.
I flew yesterday from Vancouver to Victoria return. My travel was seamless, quick and the customer service was top notch on both sides. My pilot, Reggie was fantastic and made me feel safe. The weather was beautiful and the flight was smooth.

I was scheduled to fly on your flight from Richmond to Victoria on Monday January 4 at 3 pm. Unfortunately, the flight was cancelled due to fog in Victoria. Your staff was extremely accommodating, and moved us to another airline, and has us shuttled to Vancouver airport and downtown Victoria as well. Your customer service is wonderful. Maybe some of the big guys should take a course from your company in Customer Service. Everyone was friendly and focused on the customers comfort and needs.

I flew over to Vancouver from Victoria on October 8th and took the complimentary Harbour Air shuttle to my hotel. The flight was awesome as always...my feedback is actually in regards to the shuttle driver. I never did get his name, but he was AMAZING!! I was travelling with 2 of my co-workers and we couldn't say enough good things about him! He took our bags (heavy) from us quite aways away from the shuttle door and loaded them up for us. Then took us right to our hotel and unloaded our bags on the curb for us. This may not sound like a big deal...but when you are travelling in work gear (heels/dress) lugging a big bag on and off a shuttle is no fun. So I just thought you should know that he was GREAT!! Thanks for having such a helpful and friendly guy on your staff...it made the day for all 3 of us.

We have lived on the island three years. We have so many visitors from other parts of Canada. Most ferry to Vancouver, but we suggested to one of our friends that she try Harbour Air today. The staff on the phone, in person in Nanaimo and the pilot who invited her to sit upfront have made us think that this is the way to go. We will now buy a book of tickets. My brother and I flew on the Mail Run tour June 20. This was the best way to see the West Coast scenery. We made 3 stops into different islands. The Float Plane experience gives you a whole different viewpoint on the West Coast Islands. We had great Flight Crew to provide us with this most worthwhile tour. We will go with Harbour Air again on our next trip to the West Coast.

Just a short note to thank you for making my business trip to Vancouver so enjoyable. I particularly enjoy the enthusiastic, efficient way everyone works at Harbour Air. Guests are always made to feel especially welcome. I introduced a new business colleague from Australia to floatplane travel between the cities via Harbour Air and he is sold on the idea for his future visits.
I very much appreciated the priviledge of flying in the right seat both ways. I guess there's a small boy in all us old guys that just craves the chance to be up front, even if it means just being in charge of the thermometer!

I recently had the opportunity to fly on Harbour Air. It was my first time taking a Harbour Air plane and I was a little nervous, but my experience was fantastic. I felt like a little kid, it was exciting, beautiful and refreshing. It is THE way to travel. I was on flight 2070 and my pilot was Jeff. It was a smooth and enjoyable ride. One time when I flew from Vancouver to Victoria, I noticed a passenger was invited to ride shot gun with the pilot – I figured it was a way for you to maximize the seats you could sell. So when I was returning the next day, I quietly asked the pilot, as he was about to load bags, if it would be possible for me to do that – of course he obliged, in fact, more than obliged, he welcomed me. It was a glorious day and a great experience, one I continue to remember fondly – why would I want to fly with your competitor?

At the end of October, I spent 9 days in Victoria. During that time I flew with you on a short sight seeing trip and also on a return flight to Vancouver.

Last week, while my parents were visiting from Ontario we took a trip to Victoria. They knew about the trip to Victoria, but they didn't know that we weren't going to take the usual car & ferry route.
Recently they celebrated 54 years of marriage!!! We thought that surprising them with a flight would be fun. My husband and I had never taken the Float Plane to Victoria before either, but since we live five minutes up the road from the Langley Airport, we see the signs and the planes all of the time. Naturally my parents were elated! They were so surprised and I think that my mother took about 200 pictures from the plane (each way!). There is not enough that I can say about the experience for my husband and myself however.
From the moment that I picked up the phone and connected with Rebecca to inquire about pricing to the moment that she greeted us at the Langley airport again and brought the stair ramp to the plane (I loved this!), it was one positive experience after another:
1. great reservationist (thanks, Rebecca!)
2. great fares
3. great location
4. great parking
5. great pilots
6. great scenery
7. great landing on the water (you HAVE to do this at least once in your life!)
8. great terminal location in Victoria (2 minutes from downtown!!!)
9. great complimentary shuttle to our hotel
10. great complimentary coffee and muffin while we waited to leave from Victoria
11. great staff all around; you guys all feel like a team
12. great GREEN choice; I love that you guys are Carbon Neutral and because we landed in the Inner Harbour we didn't need to rent a car. We walked and walked and saved gas and the environment!
My one request? Please add some weekend flights to your service. We would like to have the option of doing a Sunday return sometimes.

I was just looking at this website after speaking with one of your employees, and saw your comment section and felt I just had to write. I called a few different airlines requesting information about flights, prices, baggage allowance, and a million other questions. Most of the calls were mundane, dry humans on the other end that gave you the feeling that they didn't care much for their jobs. When I called Harbour Air, I was pleasantly suprised to get a wonderful "good afternoon" from a lady named Sherry. She helped answer questions giving me solutions for little problems I had, mostly excess baggage. She also told me about a frequent flyer program you have, all the time she was happy, empathetic, and a real pleasant change. Obviously she cares about her job and your company. In this day and age, customer service has gone by the wayside, and I congratulate your company for trying to maintain such a level. After speaking with Sherry I will definetely be booking my clients with your company.

We planned a long holiday in Canada and included a trip to Nanaimo. Being a novice on the net, I was trying my best to book a flight from Vancouver to Nanaimo and then later to Vancouver International. the difference in the baggage weight allowance appeared to be a problem but when I explained the situation to your office that we were on a 5 week holiday and travelling heavy, Cathy Hack immediately came back to me by e-mail and reasured me that Harbour Air would sort that problem somehow.
She took our details and reserved seats for us on the flights most suitable for our other arrangements and in a matter of hours, she came back by e-mail with confirmation.
Not only that, she gave us valuable advice which helped us greatly.
She was like a friend of the family that we hadn't met. But that's not all. While we waited at the terminal for our flight, the girl on the check-in desk made a coffee specially for me. I couldn't believe such thoughtfulness.
We'd never get service like that in England - never in a million years.
In fact all the staff seemed to be a happy bunch which rubs off on us passengers too.
Thank you Cathy and all your team for treating us like royalty.
We look forward to flying with you again when we return to Canada.

I wanted to thank Cathy and all the base staff who helped me make my seaplane/Victoria adventure so pleasant...I was very concerned about traveling solo and with a cane - I have difficulty walking and did not know if I would be able to do this trip. After several months of corresponding with Cathy, we set my trip up and she assured me that all would be fine. I did not need to worry - Cathy had pre-arranged for the staff to know that I needed extra assistance and boy, did I get it! I was helped along the ramp to the plane, on and off the plane, on both sides, and got to pre-board, which was very helpful to me. I really enjoyed seeing the Gardens in Victoria as well as downtown... and the seaplane experience was beautiful. People ask me about the cost, which I found very reasonable, but I also found it to be priceless - I had the time to leisurely look around Victoria and the assistance of a great group of caring people. Thank you all again... I cannot wait to fly with you again and I have recommended you to neighbors and co-workers!

I just wanted to say thank you! I was a runner up prize winner in your "Hot Ticket Contest". We spent the weekend of June 7/8 in Vancouver at the Four Seasons Hotel and attended the Symphony at the Orpheum on Saturday night. We arrived in Vancouver courtesy of Harbour Air. This was our first ever sea plane flight and it was a magical experience. We were thrilled with the service and the professionalism of all your employees! All I can say is Thanks - Thanks for great service and making things simple and easy.
I travel between Langley and Victoria a few times each year and have been collecting the Frequent Flyer points. I just redeemed some to take my wife out to dinner and the experience of getting the gift cards was great.
I called and was told that Langley didn't have any but they'd have some flown over from Victoria and they arrived later that day and I got a call to let me know.
You've done a great job of having a loyalty program that is easy to understand and offers benefits beyond flights. As a person who travels for work and has seen many loyalty programs, trust me on this one - you have done great things by keeping it easy to understand!
In fact, your service is so good that I recently overheard some passengers on an Air Canada flight talking about how to get from Vancouver to Victoria and I interupted them and suggested that they take Harbour Air.
Keep up the great service and simple/flexible loyalty plan!!

I liked the convenience of coffee and muffins available at the terminal, and found the seaplane provided marvellous views and an astonishingly smooth landing. I returned by bus and ferry - rather late as I also squeezed in a whale-watching trip. I was very happy with the whalewatching but the bus and ferry trip was so long and tiring compared with the plane. I guess it would be more exciting during the daytime, but next time I would just return on the seaplane, which provided an excellent and reasonably priced service.

Since flying with your airline over the past two years, I've always been impressed with the high esteem and pride Harbour Air staff have for the organization and the job they do, as well as highlighting the company's priority and commitment to safety and plane maintenance.
I got to personally appreciate that first hand on Feb. 18. I was on your only plane to push off from the Nanaimo dock that afternoon, which taxied around the harbour, while the pilot undertook a very thorough and balanced assessment into the safety factor of lift off into the foggy conditions. He confidently decided not to fly and all HA flights were cancelled for the remainder of the day. Congratulations to all on the organization, culture and flying experience that you've created at HA. Kudos to the pilot of the day!

I was proud to put our guest on Harbour Air for her flight connection at Vancouver Airport in Richmond. She said it was like flying into a postcard, it was so picturesque. The convenience and cost of flying from Nanaimo to Richmond for a flight out of YVR completely rules out the need to drive over to the mainland. Makes that choice seem outdated now. I was booked to travel from Coal Harbour to Victoria on Jan.22.08. I make this flight frequently to our offices in North Van.
Service is always great and the convenience of being able to get to work so easily means a lot to me.
On Jan.22.08 I arrived at the Coal Harbour terminal to find that your flights were cancelled due to weather. Your staff in Coal Harbour made quick arrangements for me to fly on the HeliJet on the last flight out that day. Not only did Karen make all the arrangements on my behalf, she negotiated a fare that meant my company did not have to incur additional cost. The icing on the cake was when Linda drove me to the HeliJet terminal in the HA smart car!
